AAASK’s Frost Covers have proven time and again to be the perfect solution for getting Football and Rugby matches on. They will protect your pitch from cold weather, frost and snow, down to a temperature of around -4C.
Our range of frost covers and sheets are manufactured from rugged textiles and reinforced with triple folded hams and or reinforced polyester webbing offering the user many years of use. Tests have shown that for frost protection our covers can protect from a short snap of frost down to -4 Degrees Celsius.
Frost Protection
AAASK Frost Covers will
protect a pitch from heavy frosts down to approx -5 Degrees Celsius. The frost covers must be deployed prior to the onset of frost as early as possible to retain as much heat as possible that remains in the ground which will very gradually dissipate over a much extended period over that of an uncovered pitch and therefore can offer significantly better protection that – 5 degrees C.
Snow Protection
AAASK Pitch Covers will protect any pitch from Snowfall and a build up of snow can be easily removed from the surface of the covers with a standard brush attachment fitted to the back of a compact tractor. The snow will slide off easily reducing the amount of work required substantially to remove snow from a pitch and protecting the surface against damage.
