Mini Dome

As well as germinating grass out with the growing season and accelerating germination with the growing season, the AAASK Minidome is an exceptionally useful weapon in the battle against frost. Many games are lost due to certain susceptible areas of the pitch such as shaded areas and worn areas where there is no grass cover. The AAASK Minidome can combat that that problem and ensure that fixtures go ahead unimpeded by the weather.

During frosty periods, AAASK Germination & Frost covers can be laid out over the pitch and on the shaded or worn areas likely to freeze fist, the AAASK Minidome can be installed on top of the frost covers doubling the effectiveness of the frost covers. During a three week period at Ibrox Stadium the Minidome was tested for its effectiveness and proved to be thoroughly effective.
If used sensibly and carefully, there should be no reason why any ground should have worn areas of the pitch armed with the AAASK Minidome. The AAASK Minidome can be offered on an outright purchase option, spot hire (subject to availability), contract hire for the season or specific length of time.

Training Dome

AAASK Training Domes are manufactured from a range of durable, high technology materials, and are designed to withstand the worst weather a British winter can produce. For the past few seasons, our training domes have been invaluable training aids to several leading football clubs in both the Scottish SPL and the English Premiership, 1st and 2nd Division. AAASK Training Domes are the ultimate in temporary sports structures, allowing training activities to continue in adverse conditions while providing real economic advantages over permanent structures - greatly reduced outlay, reduced planning control issues and no local government rates.

The AAASK Training Dome range covers all training requirements:

  * AAASK Domes may be constructed over both natural and synthetic surfaces.
  * AAASK Domes may be erected permanently, occasionally or daily.
  * AAASK Domes protect athletes and support staff from the weather.

Turf Dome

The AAASK Turfdome has, over the past 10 years saved 100’s of fixtures threatened by inclement weather. No other under soil heating alternative has been tested on as many occasions with positive results. Only 3 games have been lost on a last minute spot hire arrangement in that time and these were due to situations where, had there been an annual contract in place, there would have been no reason for these games to be lost.

The system is able to protect the pitch from severe frost, snow, ice and rain. It has also been used on many occasions to thaw out frozen pitches. As always, it is much better to ensure that the pitch is protected prior to the onset of inclement weather reducing the risk of a postponement.
